Revealing the Power of LOVE.
This Sunday
December 3rd at 10:00 am

Dear Beloveds,
With the passing of Thanksgiving, now the hustle and bustle of the holiday season is upon us! I love this time of the year! As I prepare to walk through this Holy season with you, I'm setting the intention to experience a centered, sacred and peaceful holiday season. Knowing that my thought creates my reality, I am purposefully choosing to leave the hustle and bustle out this year.
The Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh writes, "Peace is already present in each step, and if we walk in this way everything will bloom under our feet." Last week I got to witness the power of this idea. For the first time in 33 years, I flew home to gather with my family for Thanksgiving. It was a quick trip, out on Thanksgiving Day and back first thing Sunday morning. Anticipating traveling during one of the busiest times of the year, a few days before Bob and I left, I set an intention that I was going to stay in the center of myself the entire trip. I wanted to experience peace in every step. Peace in the airport, with fellow travelers, my siblings, my mother, with Bob. All of that is easy. Peace with myself - not as easy. I'm thrilled to report the trip was glorious from start to finish - everything and I mean everything -- bloomed under our feet. I saw and was reminded how influential intentions can be and the power of choosing peace.
I invite you to choose peace this month. Join me as we explore this potent truth: it is already present in each of us. Let's gather together and experience a centered, sacred and peaceful holiday season.

Richest blessings,
Rev. Penny
