"LISTENING TO THE VOICE WITHIN

Dear Beloveds,

I imagine many, if not all of us, have had moments when we just couldn't make a decision. Times when we just aren't sure which path to choose, which option would be best, be it a smaller or larger decision, having little significance, or a life-altering decision. This dilemma is often compounded by the fast-paced times we live in. The pace seems to add to the pressure to make the right decision. In an attempt to make the right decision, we poll our friends, surf the net, question our motives, fret and worry wanting to be certain we don't make a mistake. I have stood in this exact place many times over the course of my life. It wasn't until I entered this teaching that I found a different way, turning within, to navigate decisions.

Turning within, allows us to tap the authentic source. In his book, "The Exquisite Risk, Daring to Live an Authentic Life," the author Mark Nepo writes, "When you put your ear to the earth or to your own heart, the deeper instruments play, swelling our sense of things. When lost we simply have to remember to put an ear to the earth, or to our heart, and we will hear warmth that guides."

You may have noticed the strong beating of the earth lately. The beat and breath of both the earth and heart can truly speak to and guide us. I strongly believe that much of what is happening in the world right now is beckoning us to slow down, turn within, connect to Source and listen to the voice within. Allowing the deeper instruments to play and swell our sense of things. From this expanded place in consciousness, I trust we'll find ourselves, realize our Oneness, and awaken to the ways we can serve life.

Join me this week; I'm kicking off a series on authenticity and I'll be speaking about "Listening to the Voice Within."

Richest blessings,
Rev. Dr. Penny Macek
