First much thanks goes to who all who manned the table for ARC each Sunday, and mostly thank you Heather for your desire to go above and beyond!! Fourth quarter Community Outreach has come to an end for donations!! ARC will be so happy to see all the bags of gently used items for the Family Thrift Store! We collected, in addition to the mountain of clothes, household goods, shoes — new undergarments. Our Community contributed: 36 packs of socks; 17 packs of women’s briefs and sports bras, 12 packs of men’s’ briefs and T-shirts, and a pair of pajama pants.
Knowing that all the proceeds from the Family Thrift Store go to the Adult Rehabilitation Center is a GoOD thing!! In addition to the donations for the Family Thrift Store, there was money collected and on December 18, 2019 I had the pleasure of attending a graduation from this six month program, and we, as a Community, were able to gift to Major Stratton with Target, AMC, Starbucks, and Applebee’s gift cards!!
My heart melts to see the contribution, the welcoming, and the Love in All as a strong Diversified Community. Thank you and until 2020!
