What is happening at Arizona Helping Hands:

Our local foster children and families need our love and support now more than ever. Non-profit organizations have been impacted by Covid-19 and our economy. It has been a challenge to meet the needs of our precious children in foster care. AZHH and the AZ Dept of Child Safety are gearing up for a big increase in the number of foster children in the system now that the children are back in school and around their teachers, who are mandatory reporters for child safety issues.

What is AZHH’s greatest need right now?

Many children in foster care have never had their birthday acknowledged! Can you imagine a child not knowing the birthday song because no one has ever sung it to them? AZHH receives hundreds of requests each month for birthday gift bags. Birthday gift bags are personalized bags filled with perfect gifts to make every child feel special on their first birthday or 21st birthday. When available, AZHH adds in a birthday party kit complete with cake mix, frosting, candles, cake pan, streamers and balloons. Their greatest need right now is for gifts for ages 8-21. Would you like to be a part of this Joy?

The cost for each birtday bag is around $50.00. Your donations will go directly to fund this program. Imagin the look on a child’s face when they receive a birthday bag filled with your love and support. What a beautiful and joy filled way to live our spiritual teaching.

What can I do?
