World Labyrinth Day is an annual event designed to create a rolling wave of peaceful energy passing from one time zone to the next around the globe. “Walk as One” for peace. Let’s fill our NVC Labyrinth with as many people as possible to contribute to the big wave. This walk will be guided by Sue Powell, Certified Labyrinth Facilitator. You will learn about the fascinating history of labyrinths, why labyrinth walking is a meaningful spiritual practice, and how to use the “four R’s” to get the most out of your walk. For this special walk, we’ll also have our Peace Pole in the center of the labyrinth.
Some of the rocks for the NVC Labyrinth have been used for the beautiful water feature in the Meditation Garden. We currently have a combination of rocks and other ways of defining the labyrinth path. Perhaps you’ll find some new insights with the “hybrid” path lines.
