Phoenix Rally

(continued from newsletter)

It was truly moving to recognize and affirm our Principles with many thousands of others.  We recognized that sometimes we need to “move our feet” and shine a light on LOVE as the only lasting answer to creating a World that Works for Everyone.

As Rev Dr Penny stated in her Special email Message, August 19th:

“May I remind you, ours is to do our spiritual work to heal those aspects of ourselves that still give energy to the consciousness of distrust, blame, accusation, judgment and hate – each of these contributes to the sense of separation we are witnessing in the world right now. Remember our mission statement is, “We teach spiritual living and we live spiritual teaching.”

This work is on-going and we are blessed to have our NVC community to remind us and teach us what is ours to do in the face of any circumstance.  If you want more support, use our wonderful Practitioner core or sign up for one of the classes offered, such as Meditation, or a Support group like the Men’s Group or even one of our amazing Palooza concerts.

When we work on ourselves to develop and strengthen our connection to the Divine, our inner light shines forth ever more brightly, overcoming the eclipse of darkness in the world.

Shine On!!

Thank you for sharing your experience with all of us. I am so grateful to live in a country where “freedom of speech, and the right of the people peaceably to assemble” is the first amendment to The Constitution. The abundance of ways to express where we stand, from peace vigils to marches, from gatherings in homes, sanctuaries and churches touches my heart deeply.

  3. As a former NVC member, Board of Trustee member, and Vision Group member I am so proud of the NVC involvement at the Rally Tuesday. Glad I knew everyone in the picture. My political views are my own but I appreciate those that speak their minds. Miss you all but enjoying our connection with Center for Spiritual Living – Asheville, NC.
