We are excited to partner with the Valley of the Sun United Way (VSUW) who is doing wonderful work right here in Maricopa County. Their main focus areas are to:
- Break the cycle of poverty for every child, individual and family in Maricopa County
- End Homelessness
- Increase financial stability
The Outreach team has chosen to support VSUW through volunteering this quarter. For adults, we will have the opportunity to work one-to-one with individuals experiencing homelessness. More details to follow in future newsletters. | Save the date: Thursday, March 28th. We will also have projects for our teen connect and youth and family ministries to work on that will make a difference for poverty stricken children. Interesting fact about VSUW: 90 cents of every dollar goes back into the community to improve lives throughout the Valley.
