Hello Beloveds,
(*)
I’m sure all our hearts have been touched by what we have heard and the imagines we have seen in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. I’m also quite certain that we have had those effected in our thoughts and prayers over the course

of the last week. Some of you have been asking what more you can do.
I’m grateful to be able to let you know, we have an incredible opportunity to lean in and extend ourselves even more to our CSL brothers and sisters in Texas. Jodi Floyd, a member of our community, is spearheading the Help for Houston outreach project. We are collaborating with Unity of Houston & Creative Life Spiritual Center in Houston. Unity of Houston is receiving all financial donations, please follow this link to make yours. Creative Life Spiritual Center in Houston, a CSL community, has many members that have lost everything. We will be taking collected donations to them as well as an area school.

Here are the details: over the course of the next two weeks NVC will be the collection site for many of the immediate necessary items for those effected. Please follow this link for a list of acceptable items (and feel free to print and distribute this flier to anyone that might want to participate). All sheets, towels, pillows and pillow cases should be new. We have been advised that food and clothing are not needed now, thus will not be accepted.

The center will be accepting donations Saturday – Wednesday from 9 – 1pm, beginning Tuesday Sept 5th – Thursday Sept 21st. The loaded truck will leave for Houston the weekend of Sept. 22nd. We are looking for support in accepting donations on Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays. If you are available please contact Maureen Geraghty @ maureen@newvisionaz.org.

Please feel free to forward this message to family and friends. Help us widen the circle of support from those that want to be a part of reaching out and might not know how. Standing in our vision that “Love Awakens Hearts and Transforms Lives,” let’s let our love aid the suffering of these beloveds.
