Thank you EVERYONE who donated and contributed to the Help for Houston Hurricane Harvey flooding relief efforts. A special shout of to New Vision Center (Rev Penny), Scottsdale Center for Spiritual Living (Rev Jill), Creative Living Fellowship (Rev Michele), Bikram Yoga North Scottsdale, Penske Truck Rental, Savers, friends from Arizona and new friends from Houston (Rev Patty Rumpza, Rosita Hogan, Judy and Bill, Diane and Dwight, Catholic Charities of Houston) and everyone who helped with this relief effort for the victims of Hurricane Harvey. MUAH!!! Most of all, big hugs and love to my bestest Bill Milham who joined me on this trip and did 3/4 of the driving and was an amazing travel companion and to my sweetie Matthew Earl Jones who supported me in this project. xoxox you Billy and Matthew! Some highlights: 1. Penske provided a larger truck for $35!. 2. Savors who donated 4 pallets of gently used clothes that were labeled by size and gender. 5. Volunteers from NVC who helped load the truck. 6. Rev Cindy Mindendorf who paid for our hotel room in Houston. 7. Friends in Houston, Darlene and Dwight Garland who took us to dinner and gave us a $10 roll of quarters for tolls. 8. Patty and Bill who picked us up from our hotel, followed us to return the truck, took us to lunch, and donated $200 towards gas which covered my out of pocket expenses.
