Rev Lonnie Whittington

Lonnie is a Founding Member of Creative Living Fellowship. He graduated with the first CLF Practitioner class in 2001 and became a Religious Science Minister in 2010. He recently established CLF’s Prison Ministry whose mission is to maintain consistent personal communication and provide positive encouragement to inmates across the country. The Prison Ministry explores ways to promote a criminal justice system that upholds restorative values in helping individual lives and communities.

Lonnie is an instructor through CLF’s teaching arm and has created and taught several different classes. He particularly enjoys teaching Comparative Religions in which Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Judaism, Taoism, Christianity and Islam are presented and explored as the foundation to Religious Science.

With more than forty years of experience in advertising and graphic design, Lonnie’s day job is as a consultant to high-tech business-to-business clients. He was an Associate Professor at Arizona State University in the Department of Art (1976-1983) and College of Architecture (1983–1984) and is proficient in software and production for animation, audio, video, print and web design. He was an internet pioneer in the early 90’s and his company created the world’s first corporately sponsored game on the internet in 1995.
