How many of us avoid bringing up political issues with friends and family because we are afraid of a heated or divisive conversation? Paul Jozef, Certified Communication Trainer, is providing a workshop for those who want to communicate in a powerful yet compassionate way about political issues that are often highly charged and divisive. No matter how different your viewpoints, Paul will show you how to avoid argument, connect with others and communicate from the heart in a highly effective way.

    Being raised in the 50’s – 60’s, my Mom said many times . . . “there are two things you never discuss, 1) religion; 2) politics. That comment was enforced by my Dad & my favorite Uncle having very strong discussions (one was a Republican & one was a Democrat). My Mom was so uncomfortable with their debates, that she didn’t want us to get into those kind of conversations. However, I do remember that at the end of their debates, my Dad & my Uncle loved and respected each other more than anyone else I knew. Personally, I am still uncomfortable discussing politics, mainly because I do not feel educated enough to debate with anyone. And, I don’t like debates. . . Toni Janes
