Townhall Meeting

After Sunday’s service, more than 70 individuals gathered in the Social Hall to hear current updates on the sale of the property, financials, and the difference NVC is making in the world through our Mission Based budget. Here are some highlights:

  • after some delays, our buyers appear to be back on track. The timeline for the move has been adjusted and it looks like  it will happen at the end of 2019. Folks were asked to let us know who is willing and able to support the move with sharing their talents and/or their trucks.
  • NVC Treasurer Mark Arnold gave us updates of our current financial situation. In the month of April we came within $400 of breaking even thanks to the strong support of the Easter collection and the generosity of our congregation.
    • As we are approaching Summer and Travel time, please consider supporting NVC via Auto Tithe. Contact Jeff at: Jeff@newvisionaz.org.
    • The bulk of our budget comes from devoted partners (Pledged Stewardship) and we are currently about 10% shy of the fulfillment of those pledges. If you would like to  learn more or converse with our Treasurer at: Mark@newvisionaz.org Thank you Mark for leading us in the A-Bun-Dance!

During the Minister’s report Rev. Lezli let us know about the efforts to articulate and walk out “being radically inclusive.”  You can always reach out to Rev. Lezli at: revlezli@newvisionaz.org to find out how to participate in this important conversation. Rev. Karin shared her passion of Community Care and the many ways we care for one another. If you would like to hear more, contact at: revkarin@newvisionaz.org

We are truly blessed to experience the gift of community. Thank you for your interest, your Love and your consciousness!
