Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice used to delve deeper in to the “self” by peeling back the layers of physical, emotional, and mental blocks. Its basically “sleep yoga” where your mind and body are put to rest, as if you are asleep, but your consciousness is still aware. This 90 minute workshop is a great way to relieve stress and anxiety and an opportunity to give the your mind and body a break.
This practice requires no yoga experience and does not have any physical requirements.
To prepare for this workshop:
Wear comfortable, loose clothing
Find a quiet space with limited noise and distractions
Use a towel, yoga mat, the floor, a couch or bed to lie on
Have a blanket or two within reach (to be used whenever desired)
A small pillow under your head and neck (not required)
