As we practice “The Art of Being Together” this week, we have the ultimate opportunity to join together in a powerful way through our brand new NVC Circles. Many of you have already said YES to supporting one another in intimacy and love, which is deeply exciting. But don’t worry — it’s not too late! We will be accepting applications for NVC Circles through Sunday, May 20th, both online HERE and in the Social Hall after service. As the Circles fill up, any additional applications will be placed on a waiting list for the next available Circle positions.
We deeply believe Rev. Mark Anthony Lord when he says that a waiting list is a good thing! That said, the Circles program can only grow as more people say YES to stepping into Circles leadership. A number of you have asked just what that leadership might look like. With that in mind, here is a quick overview of the requirements for NVC Circles leaders:
- Member of NVC
- Attending NVC regularly for at least one year
- Foundations graduate
- Identifiable financial partner with NVC
- Comfortable praying and speaking in front of a small group
- Willing to participate in 6 week training program
- Willing to give and receive weekly prayer and support
- Willing to commit an average of 10 hours per month
- Willing to commit for a minimum of one year
If becoming an NVC Circles leader calls to your heart, feel free to reach out to me (lezli@newvisionaz.org) or Beverley (bevstrutt@hotmail.com) to have a deeper conversation. As we grow this amazing program, we are helping NVC to become an even more loving and transformative place for us all.
