Our Story

Since 1989, NVC has been a welcoming community grounded in Science of Mind and inspired by Ernest Holmes. We share spiritual principles and practical tools that empower individuals to live with greater clarity, purpose, and joy.

1989

  • Charter signed for New Vision Spiritual Growth Center on Feb 14
  • Sanctioned by United Church of Religious Science
  • Joyce Murphy, Senior Minister

1995

  • Joyce Murphy retired
  • Michelle Medrano, Senior Minister

1997

  • New Vision Spiritual Growth Center of Scottsdale
  • New Vision Spiritual Growth Center merged with Religious Science Community Church of Arizona

2009

  • Christmas Eve, first service at current location, 18010 N Tatum Blvd

2012

  • New Vision Center for Spiritual Living
  • United Church of Religious Science merged with Religious Science International to become Centers for Spiritual Living

2013

  • Michelle Medrano moved to Mile Hi Church, Senior Associate Minister
