Thank you to all who have donated to our Outreach partner, The Foster Alliance.  One eye-opening reality the organization shared is that in 2024, more than 8,600 children were rescued—children who suddenly needed safety, comfort, and a place to belong.  It’s a staggering number, and it reminds us how deeply our compassion is needed.

The Foster Alliance works to make it possible for more families to open their hearts and homes to a child in need. We know it truly takes a village, and NVC can be part of the loving support that helps a family say  “yes” to offering a safe, nurturing home.  When you give, you help remind each foster family they are not alone and that we recognize each child matters, is cherished, and they are loved.

This month, through December 14th, we are collecting essential items for toddlers, including:

  • New clothing -Sizes 2T – 6T
  • New toys for the holidays
  • Diapers in sizes 2T–6T

At the same time, we are extending our care to neighbors in our wider community by supporting Paradise Valley Community Food Bank.  During the holiday season—when many struggle the most— and especially after the recent months when local food banks were stretched beyond their limits, our support can make a meaningful difference.  We are collecting non-perishable food items such as:

  • Canned proteins (tuna, chicken)
  • Soups and stews
  • Pasta and rice
  • Peanut butter
  • Canned fruits and vegetables
  • Shelf-stable meals

Your generosity helps ensure that both vulnerable children and families in need feel held, supported, and uplifted during this season of hope.  Please consider dropping donations in the lobby collection bins, or give directly to The Foster Alliance or Paradise Valley Community Food Bank at the QR codes below.   Together, we can help bring comfort, nourishment, and the love NVC shares to those who need it most.
