Dear Beloved Community,

What a sacred journey we are on together and it looks like as a community we have entered the “Growing Deeper” part of our annual theme. We are asked to embrace the unknown, appreciate the hidden depths, and find strength and safety in the darkness, as this is promoting a more inclusive and nuanced understanding of our community and the world.

When we lean into this sacred depth, boundaries become thresholds, instead of barriers. They can support us as gateways to deeper authenticity, liberation, and grace. They can invite our truest selves to lead during this sacred time of our own becoming.

Today, my deep dive into boundaries caused me to cross that sacred threshold and lovingly say, “That is so kind, however it doesn’t work for me.” For someone who prides herself in saying YES as my first and often only answer, the peace that I experienced after a loving NO got my attention. I am experiencing that each time we honor truth over perfection, we light the way forward.

Thank you for being courageous enough to grow, tender enough to love, and bold enough to honor the wisdom within. On Sunday, we’ll explore how we may “Honor Our Boundaries” in our relationships, in our spiritual community and in the world.

With boundless gratitude and love,
Rev. Karin
