What We Believe About Wholeness

Dear Beloveds, All this month we are exploring Wholeness—the recognition that every person is a unique expression of the Divine, with nothing missing, broken, or excluded from the goodness of Spirit. This powerful concept impacts every area of our lives. Truly recognizing our own Wholeness transforms our self-esteem, our confidence, and our physical and mental health . Recognizing this same truth in others shifts our relationships, our societal ideals, and our understanding of who belongs. To embody the truth that all humanity is divine and that we are one global family, we must recognize the inherent wholeness in everyone. To deny anyone's wholeness is to deny God. So much of the work we do at New Vision Center is personal and internal. We explore our beliefs, discarding ideas that have held us back and opening to new, freeing ways of living. This is important work, but it's not the entirety of the task at hand. In truth, we can only enjoy our experience of Wholeness to the extent that we make space for the Wholeness of everyone else. As Ernest Holmes wrote,"There is no use in our screaming that God is love because it sounds pretty, because it sounds grand. We will never know whether or not the everlasting arms are around us unless and until and in such degree as our arms are around humanity." This Sunday, we'll explore what it would mean for us to truly believe we are all one global family, and that each of us is unique and divine in the message, "What We Believe About Wholeness." Much Love, Rev. Lezli
