The Holy Land is Everywhere

Dear Beloveds,

This Sunday, as I sat enjoying the beautiful presentation giving by the children of our Youth & Family Ministry, I had no question. I was on holy ground, in every sense of the word. I could hear Spirit in each word shared. I could see Spirit in those bright eyes. I could feel Spirit in the uplifted joy of those around me. It was sacred and real, all at the same time. It made me realize at a deeper level that I am always on holy ground, as Spirit is literally everywhere I go. When I was new to a spiritual walk, there was a distinction in my mind between "spiritual stuff" and "regular life." The longer I study and live the Science of Mind, though, I am recognizing that it was never true. There is nothing that isn't spiritual. There's nowhere and no one outside of the goodness of God.

As a people, we talk about the Holy Land and holy ground, often to the point of fighting and killing to control these sacred spaces. I don't believe that was ever the point. If GOD is everywhere present, as many faiths suggest, then everywhere is the Holy Land, and we are always on holy ground.

This Sunday, let's explore how, "The Holy Land is Everywhere."
