Dear Beloveds,

This month of exploring Higher, Deeper Love has left me with one resounding question: What would life look like if I truly and completely surrendered to Love? What would the world look like? The truth is even with my high intentions, I sometimes fall short. I suspect we all do. I can get distracted by someone who thinks differently than I do, or who has different expectations or beliefs. I get too focused on the reality of the situation (notice the lower-case r there), and forget that we are all truly One. Ernest Holmes said, “Love…is a common denominator. It speaks a thousand different tongues, but it always emanates from the same source.” That’s the capital-R Reality, the Truth. We can disagree profoundly with someone and yet still see them through the lens of Divine Love.

As we move through this life, we’re doing it together. We’re navigating life’s complexities as One. What’s before us - our collective past, present and future – is ours to bravely face, feel and heal. Ask yourself, how am I actively co-creating a world that represents this Higher, Deeper Love we’ve been talking about all month? This Sunday, I hope you’ll join us as we lean into the idea that “Love Lifts Us Up Where We Belong.”

Much Love,

Rev. Lezli
