“BE UNIQUELY YOU. Stand out. Shine. Be colorful. The world needs your prismatic soul!” ~ Amy Leigh Mercree

Dear Beloveds,

How often have we heard a call to be authentically ourselves, only to discover that when we were, someone didn’t like it, judged us, and we heard about it from a friend of a friend. The contradicting messaging to authenticity is so subtle, and yet it is everywhere. Be considerate of what people will think, dress according to your age, don’t be too _______!  I am done with it!

I am declaring June “FREE TO BE ME” month! Join me in this celebration of authenticity, self-expression, and the courage to stand in one’s truth.

My goal is to inspire each of us to embrace our uniqueness and challenge limiting societal norms with confidence. Together we can live our authentic lives, here at NVC, in our families and relationships and in our greater communities.

Much Love,
Rev. Karin
