December Theme: Integration of a Powerful Year

Dear Beloveds,

The holidays are here, friends! From the tasty treats we shared at Thanksgiving, through the parties and gatherings to celebrate Winter Solstice, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year's Eve, we are in the middle of holiday madness. It's a fun bustle of joyful activity, except when it's not. In fact, I'm willing to bet that every one of us will have at least a moment of "not enough-ness" some time in this holiday season. Whether it's responding to thoughtless words, painful memories or difficult changes, the holidays can bring up old ideas and beliefs that just don't serve us anymore. The wonderful truth is that our ideas and beliefs are within our individual power to explore and, if desired, change.

One of the phrases that has made the biggest difference to me in these moments is "whole, complete and perfect." I have affirmed countless times that I am made of The Infinite Good, and that I am already inherently whole, complete and perfect. That doesn't mean that I can't mess up. I assure you, I can. But it means that the core of me is not lacking anything I need to be the fullest me. Knowing that down to the tips of my toes has dramatically changed how I show up, whether it's at work or at a holiday party.

This Sunday, we're going to break down that simple phrase and practice centering into our Truth in my message, "Whole, Complete and Perfect at the Holidays."

Much love,
Rev. Lezli
