Dear Beloveds,
Welcome to 2026! It's a delight to be able to share with you that our 2026 theme is "Open at the Top," a phrase Ernest Holmes used to describe the flexibility of Science of Mind. He built the philosophy to be able to integrate new ideas, teachers and approaches. Both Science of Mind and the New Vision Center are continually evolving, while remaining rooted in eternal and universal Spiritual Principles. This gives us a safe place to play with Spirit.
Our January theme, "New Thought, Ancestral Wisdom," is a wonderful exploration of the basics of Science of Mind seen through a new lens. Or, I should say, an old lens. In Science of Mind, we are taught that the entire Universe conspires for our good. Indigenous wisdom supports and deepens this idea, honoring the interconnectedness of all.
This week, we’ll share the story of the Maple Sugar Moon, and discover the communion of weather, botany, squirrel wisdom and human effort in creating the magic of maple sugar. Let's explore how is the Universe conspiring for the highest good of all right now?
Much love,
Rev. Lezli
