Hello friends,
You may be aware that I tend to have a lot of energy. And I tend to get excited about all sorts of things. And sometimes it may seem like I have a perma-smile. In fact, one of my core values is embracing and embodying joy. When I am in JOY, I feel in deep alignment with the Allness of Life - and what a soul-satisfying place to be!
The truth is: I don’t always have a lot of energy, sometimes I am really annoyed by things, and other times there is no smile on my face at all. It’s like the plug in the bathtub of joy got pulled and all the joy drained out! In those moments, I wonder, “Will I ever feel joyful again?” And “What did I do wrong?” Maybe joy is fleeting or limited? I want to get back to that effervescent, overflowing experience of giddy enthusiasm, but how?
And you? What is your relationship with joy? What thoughts show up for you when you are experiencing joy directly and when, perhaps, you aren’t? Join me this Sunday where we will explore movement from the intermittent human experience of joy to Divine Joy being available always, in every situation. When we soften ourselves and open to the present moment, we access the wellspring of joy at the center of our being that IS the impulse of the Divine to express through us. Are you ready?
With joy,
Rachel
